It's hard to realize the real fact until the last scene. Besides, the director used a non-linear plot. Some might sees the plot is confusing. But as an action movie, this movie is better than "Fate" (also starred by Kwon Sang-woo). See more 02/19/2009 A wonderfully deep movie that looks at bad men doing good things, or is that good men that have done bad things? It's a question that propels this interesting cop drama. We follow two men. One, a police officer that has had some shady dealings with suspect characters. Two, a rapist that is beginning a genuine romance with a woman he has attacked in the past. The film plays on morals and ethics in a stylised fashion. Unfortunately a predictable and very unnecessary twist almost ruins the film. There was no need for it and it added nothing. In fact it took away the parallels it had been drawing up. Beautiful Sunday finds the beauty in disturbing places and asks can sins ever be forgiven? See more 09/24/2008 Nice twist..
