07/28/2014 As seen on "Mystery Science Theater 3000." How else could I dissuade you? See more 08/30/2013 What kind of a name is Bart Fargo for a secret agent? He wasn't really a good one at least. Along with the spy movie craze came this little film. Mostly the same as the others, but with a death ray that doesn't seem to do much except burn things a little. Watch the Mystery Science Theater version. See more 05/06/2012 I just barely made it through this one. Danger!! Death Ray is about as blatant a James Bond rip-off as I can think of, and that doesn't help it in any way. It's just horrible, and there's nothing really redeemable about it. The actors are totally hamming it up and most of them don't fit their parts at all. The $2 special effects are nothing to write home about either. The submarine scene looks like it was shot in someone's swimming pool with a couple of small models. It's mind-boggling how atrocious everything about it is. Thank goodness for the folks at Mystery Science Theater 3000 for making this one at least watchable. Otherwise, it's probably a good idea just to skip it altogether. Trust me on this. You'll thank me later. See more 03/11/2012 Decent spy movie with some fun moments and inspiring ideas, but I haven't seen a lot of spy movies.
