In the case of The Hangover, Phillips made a decent diversion, but no classic; like its heroes you'll have a good time, then forget most of it when you wake up the following morning. It's a movie, not a film. Go to Full Review

... I went in to The Hangover with low expectations but ended up laughing more times than I thought I would. Go to Full Review

The Hangover isn't painful to watch. If friends drag you to this movie, you won't hate them afterwards. But maybe it'll seem a lot funnier if you are drinking. Go to Full Review

There is little surprise that ‘The Hangover 2’ is already in pre-production, this film is so good that it deserves to do well at the box office. ‘The Hangover’ is one of the funniest films of the year and is a must for those who love to laugh out loud. Go to Full Review

Temporary and fading, it limits itself with its reliance on gross-out humor; once you’ve seen the depravity onscreen, the shock no longer exists, making its rewatchability nil. You’ll laugh a lot the first time you see it but see it only once. Go to Full Review

Over at the Nevada Film Office, none of us staff members thought a little comedy with not-too- familiar stars would produce a Mike Tyson knock-out punch... Go to Full Review

Akanksha P @Popcorntalks11 3d If Vegas had a group project these guys would still somehow lose the groom. The movie is literally 100 minutes of bad decisions, zero memory and one tiger casually living in bathroom. Every five minutes the movie somehow gets more chaotic and you just accept it like that makes sense to even thought it not in real world. By the end I was asking myself that, HOW ARE THEY STILL ALIVE??? See more Brian M @RT70074185 4d The hungover, is definitely one of my favorite comedies. The idea of people getting hungover and doing crazy things and totally forgetting everything and having to piece back slowly the following day is a funny concept. This one was too funny for me to watch. See more T M @RT55749265 May 10 I had heard this movie was the funniest. Not for me. I bet this plays better in theatres. Galafinakis is usually good to watch but he's been better. The humour is unreconstructed crude and sometimes nasty. I didn't like these guys but I'm not a frat boy. I have a feeling I won't be watching 2 or 3. See more Chris P @Xiao_Proxies Apr 14 The Hangover is more than just a wild party movie, it's a cleverly built comedy that manages to blend absurdity with structure in a way that few films in the genre do. Rather than showing the debauchery upfront, the film smartly throws the audience into the aftermath, letting us unravel the mystery of what happened alongside the characters. This reverse-detective formula keeps things engaging from start to finish. The cast is a huge part of why it works so well. Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, and Zach Galifianakis each bring something distinct to the table, making the trio instantly iconic. Alan's unpredictability, Stu's anxious breakdowns, and Phil's cool but frustrated leadership form the perfect storm for comedy. The supporting cast, including Mike Tyson and Ken Jeong, adds just the right level of chaos. The pacing is tight, the gags hit more often than they miss, and there are plenty of quotable lines that have stood the test of time. See more Manan J @RT64452712 Apr 13 Chaos has a name. It’s called The Hangover. No deep message. No life lessons. Just pure, unapologetic madness done right. This film doesn’t try to be smart—it just out-entertains everything else in its lane. The chemistry between the group is effortless, with Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, and Zach Galifianakis creating absolute chaos that somehow keeps getting better as the story unfolds. And just when you think it can’t get crazier—it does. The brilliance lies in its unpredictability. One ridiculous situation leads to another, and you’re just along for the ride, trying to keep up. Final Verdict: No logic. No control. Just one of the most rewatchable comedies ever made. Cinema wins. Mediocrity loses. This movie is great to watch with friends and gfs. See more Read all reviews
