The creatures who live in the Land of Point all have pointy features, except Oblio, whose circular head is unusual. Singled out because of his appearance, Oblio is exiled to the Pointless Forest. In the process, he learns that it doesn't matter what you look like -- it's who you are on the inside that counts. Narrated by former Beatle Ringo Starr and featuring music by late folk-rocker Harry Nilsson, this animated children's fable is about one of life's important lessons.

12/01/2020 The point is a cute and charming animated film that can have its pacing issues and dome pretty simple characters, but breaks out solid with some fun and creative moments, good voice acting and a bed time feeling that gives the film a lot of charm. I will recommend you to watch it if you want. Its far from one of the best movies out there, but it is cute in its own way and definitely charming and deserves some attention. I enjoy the film because the animation makes me nostalgic of the Tootsie Pop commercials that ran in the 90s. I also enjoy the story. It teaches a good message about acceptance that is watered down enough for children to enjoy, but not dumbed down so that adults can't enjoy it either. The soundtrack, done by Nilsson, is the best thing about the film. It goes along perfectly with the story, and plays as a commentary about the story.
