Gas station owner Ray (Rick Cramer) saves an elderly voodoo priestess trapped inside a wrecked car, but then he opens her mysterious suitcase and becomes possessed by the evil spirits it contains. Ray turns into a murderous zombie, killing anything that crosses his path and terrorizing a group of teens, including his own son, Sean (D.J. Cotrona). With the help and charms of the voodoo priestess, Sean and friends fight to stay alive as they are pursued through the bayou.

The objective critiques were not unwarranted; the script has shortcomings, and the characters are underdeveloped. Lúcio Leonardo P @Lucio Nov 24 This entertainment had some potential for the genre, but it got lost in clichés and the "freedom" that a film about a curse can bring to the story and its logic. For those who like that sort of thing, it's worth checking out; however, for those who appreciate a good film, it's pure venom! See more Jason W @RT21899927 Aug 10 A tow truck driver saves a voodoo lady prior to getting bit by snakes and drowning. The problem is he comes back as a snake version of a Jason Voorhees wannabe and kills the teens of the town for some reason, adding a voodoo element, just because. I thought this was a 90s flick with the bad acting and lackluster cgi, but somehow this was made in the early 2000s.
