It is not a masterpiece, but it sure is hell is not as bad as the critics seem to think. The story is limited, but it exists and drives the scenes. The only mildly confusing/useless part of the movie was the duel that happens, which they give some brief reasonings for but ultimately was unimportant to the movie. But otherwise everything that happens is because the plot wants it to. Acting's actually pretty decent, not triple A but solid b tier movie stuff. Fighting was interesting, it certainly felt fake but it also had its good moments. Additionally the movie has a ton of really memorable things that happen which in my mind highlights a movies ability to focus on important moments. The end fight scene, while a little lack luster, has an amazing build up that reminds me of something like LOTR. See more Read all reviews
