Jack Bauer is the best, and what I really love about it is that every season is totally different from the previous, just another story that will drag your attention. See more Taylor H @TJJordan84 Apr 9 24 - Redemption is a return to basics after several seasons of raising the stakes to world threatening levels. Although a slight improvement over Season 6, the biggest issue with this movie is that it feels more like an extended episode meant to be set up for Season 7. If anything, it’s more like a two-parter premiere. But for the an hour & a half movie, it manages to be emotional and make me care for the characters just enough, even managing to develop Jack Bauer in ways we hadn’t seen before. Kiefer Sutherland delivers another great performance and makes Jack feels like an everyday man trying to get his life back together. While nothing truly special, think of it as a side-quest, mini-season for Jack Bauer that also acts as setup for the next season. See more 02/26/2022 While I don't think it's strictly required viewing since this made-for-TV movie exists to compensate for the seventh season being postponed due to the Writers' Strike that was going on at the time, 24: Redemption benefits from a change in scenery, great performances from the cast, a better look at the human side of Jack Bauer and of course, all that good old-fashioned fast-paced tension and powerfully executed moments.
