Anthony S @RT43296388 Mar 15 This is one of those movies that should have been a career killer for those involved. It is crazy to me that these talented actors and film makers can make a movie so bad. I thought that people just were just being mean to Oprah or something, but the truth is that this movie is just plain bad. Editing, terrible. Storytelling, bad. Characters I neither understood nor cared about. Acting, really really bad. I couldn't understand why the acting was so bad. The music throughout the movie was always soaring. But if every scene has that style of music...then nothing soars. I really did not understand how this movie got made. Or worse how no one tried to stop it from being released. Thankfully the people involved with this debacle recovered and went on to continue to make good films...but this one ain't it. So loaded with green screen, what else would it likely be repurposed for. I hate how they decided to modernize the setting when the original story is supposed to be a period piece. It’s not a horrible movie but it doesn’t really capture the essence of the book. The only reason we finished it was it was my husband's pick for movie night See more JACOB B. @JACOBJORDANBAYNE Sep 4 A wrinkle in time it's not a good disney movie but a wrinkle in time is a good okay Disney movie like it doesn't follows the book but it doesn't have the two boys because in the book Meg's has two younger brothers Sandy and Dennys Murry and her little brothers Charles Wallace and her mom who is trying to take care of Meg's and Sandy and Dennys Murry and Charles Wallace who father went missing and Meg's and Charles Wallace are join by Calvin O'Keefe a popular and athletic classmate of Meg Murry who join Meg's and Charles Wallace search for their father with the help from Mrs. Whatsit Mrs. Who and Mrs. Which who are the three sister stars who tell Meg's that her father is trapped in something called Camazotz or the Black Thing or It that is darknass that can control the inhabitants of planets it has taken over, like Camazotz, where free will is suppressed and people act in unison so Meg's must stop Camazotz and rescue her father from it but on her way she find out they her brother Charles Wallace was manipulating by it causing Meg's to save her brother at the end Meg's and Charles Wallace and Calvin O'Keefe and their father go back home See more Davene J @TheFabD Jun 24 The original was much better. Far superior character development getting into the story. You'd think Disney would do it better spending all that money or wasting it actually on big salaries. If Disney really cared about kids they do something about the suffering children. Disney sucks. So don't waste your money on this just cause Mindy is in it. Its not a good as the original.
