As Thotta Kuttan, Tovino Thomas is a blast. Though he enters relatively late, he immediately dominates the screen with sheer presence. Go to Full Review

The film consistently makes you laugh (if you catch the references) and recreates the vibes of a loud, energetic college fete. Go to Full Review

While the makers have tried to inflate the action comedy as much as possible — in fact, worryingly close to the tipping point — the only problem is that the Athiradi balloon is so transparent that the hollowness within is quite evident. Go to Full Review

Alex May 18 Not worth the hype. Vineets Sreenivasan number of times his name chanting was done was quite overwhelming. I guess Premam is hands down the best movie so far for a college fest theme. See more arvind S @Arvind100 5d Athiradi gets the emotional bits right from the get go. They are quite impactful and most of the credit for this goes towards Vishnu Agasthya's character. A tragedy leaves him broken, and that plays an important role in shaping the story. Basil Joseph's character is up to his usual gimmicks, but this time as a college student. Tovino Thomas and Zarin Shihab both transform into native Trivandrium-ites with their spot-on accents. I especially loved Tovino's character as it is something different from his usual roles. Vineeth Sreenivasan & Shaan Rahman play fictional versions of themselves and they provide the much-needed comic relief. My major concern with the movie was its humour. Given it was promoted as a comedy, the humour doesn't land for the most part. Shaan & Vineeth had to enter the scene to make that work. The other thing was the duration. Athiradi did not require a 157 minute runtime. It felt stretched thin at times. See more Ajitha R @RT73063208 May 16 What an absolute waste of time. The movie had no substance, comedy or a decent dialogue. I wonder why anyone would waste their energy and money into making a foolish movie like this. See more Nandhu R @Kingmaker___6 May 15 Expected an interval banger; everything else felt mid, including the industry hit star cameo. Even the interval portion itself was a familiar old-school cliche, though the score and narration made it the peak high moment of the entire film. Some of the comedy and emotional moments worked. Overall, it’s a mid film... See more Read all reviews
