In this final chapter, Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox) obtains a 70-year-old message from the time-traveling Dr. Emmett Brown (Christopher Lloyd), in which he informs Marty that he has retired to a small town in the Old West. Marty then finds out that the Doc was murdered shortly after sending the letter. In order to save his friend, Marty will have to travel back in time, disentangle a lovestruck Doc from a local schoolmarm, and repair the DeLorean -- all while avoiding a posse of gunslingers.

Greetings from Lithuania. "Back to the Future Part III" (1990) is a fun, entertaining and very well made film. It is set in the old west and maybe I'm a bit of a fan when it comes to westerns, so this movie for me worked better then Part 2. This is an excellently paced, solidly acted, well written and directed movie with great set design, great music, and good cinematography. The old west scenes did look amazing. As for the entire trilogy, it is a very good one. Overall, Part III is good end of a trilogy. Fun, energetic and little less quirky and confusing then Part 2, I found it to be a lot of fun.

To end the trilogy on a strong note it does; I like the FUTURE that the previous film starts off in. He ce why it's called BACK TO THE FUTURE!

A fairly entertaining conclusion for the trilogy. Most of the movie is a standard western, but it's a fairly likable western. The plot is less ambitious, but more consistent & focused than Part II. Thomas Wilson is great as Biff's outlaw ancestor Buford "Mad Dog" Tannen. I like the constant Clint Eastwood references. The returning cast is great as always. I liked the clever brainstorming to use the train to make the DeLorean run fast enough to go back to the future. It's Doc Brown's turn for romance this time. I like that he gets more focus, even if the romance isn't anything too special (still sweet though). The cliche misunderstanding between Clara and Doc Brown feels forced. I liked the hot sauce "wake up juice" they use on Doc Brown. The climax on the train is pretty fun. It's a nice ending wrapping everything up in 1985. Doc Brown's fate is messy, but his final line about our unwritten futures was inspiring. It's a pretty good conclusion to a great trilogy.
