Le S @RT67114437 02/17/2025 A true love story. Yes, love can be very erotic, but feels genuine when you notice the loyalty, and understanding between them. It makes you wonder where the line is drawn between being crazy about someone, to just being crazy. I'm usually an advocate for Extended/Director's Cuts, but in this case, it makes me wanna see the shorter version, as it somewhat dragged to the finish. The older me finally seeing this highly-rated Jean-Jaques Beneix 'Blue' period number finds Betty simpering and those around her not much better.... However, there are a lot of superfluous scenes that pad the film out to three hours and the story concentrates mostly on the guy when the girl is obviously a more interesting character.
