See more Darren D @DarrenJD 4d The opening of "Bodycam" had my interest following police officers being dispatched to a domestic dispute, as the rundown location of the home they're investigating is dark & the tight camera angles made it feel claustrophobic, but around the 10-minute mark it collapses within itself. Instead of going for a more natural scenario of being in the wrong place at the wrong time, it goes in the direction of a feeble attempt at social commentary of addiction that goes nowhere meaningful & the attempt to cover up an accidental shooting as one officer doesn't want to be crucified by the public. Sure, you can say the officers are panicking, but in the situation of what we seen it doesn't work. The horror amounted to no scares, no tension & a ridiculous amount of static glitches with a poorly executed ending that doesn't work in a 75-minute film that went on too long, making "Bodycam" another forgettable found footage horror. I was happy they controlled the gore factor. See more tm11999 M @tm11999 Mar 17 meh....i'm not much for a blair witch found grainy footage flick. i suppose this is fine and creepy enough for those that are ascared of the lower bowels of the nostromo with dark passageways with dripping chains. the devil usually is your friendly neighbor not an unexplained drooling monster. but go ahead and watch this if you ain't got nuffin to do.
