'Sicario' demonstrated US military versus drug cartels is exciting, but by the time 'Brothers Under Fire' revs up, one’s mind has already left the building. Go to Full Review

Despite some intermittent thrills, the film struggles to generate any meaningful suspense with its thinly sketched characters and narrative predictability. Go to Full Review

Jerod S @jeroduptown 4d Kiefer's off base for a soldier's wedding when things go wrong and people start getting killed. Him and his boys gotta keep the bad banditos away. Predictable. See more Michael G @Mich3417 5d Love Kiefer Sutherland, but not this movie or his character. Very disappointed with the story, character development and the whole picture. Definitely was a waste of time watching this simple movie. No surprises, anybody could see where this picture was going in the first five minutes. Never left a review before on any movie…that is how bad I thought this movie was. Would not watch it again or the sequel. See more Riley V @RT00301319 May 14 Kiefer Sutherland successfully made this movie worth watching, and the acting of his co-actors did make it feel believeable irregardless of its lack of scenes showing it, however, the lack of any tangible story, or any intrigue finds this movie lacking, and left the experience of the movie quite stale and unmoving throughout the plot. despite being glued to the screen to see what happens next; What is delivered could have been used for a show instead of a movie, to give it the opportunity to flesh out more story. Finishing the movie left me disappointed, but at the same time wishing for more, as if it would have delivered more story-wise if it had a bit more depth, possibly by being longer, or have the opportunity to be a show with more to give, this would have been a really good view. See more Kewl D. @KewlB May 11 I didn't see the reason to make this movie. The plot seems like many other movies of the same genre with nothing new added . See more Aaron G @aarongeis May 11 I was shocked to see some of the comments here regarding bad acting and weak character development. For this action genre, the acting was superb across the board. Even the ancillary actors delivered solid performances. The character depth may have been brief given the rather short runtime of this movie, but the characters were fleshed out and I was was able to immediately be drawn in and attached. Kiefer Sutherland delivered an exceptionally strong performance as well. My only critique is that I felt like I was dropped into the middle of a new TV series but was only allowed to watch one episode. The movie felt a little like a slice of life, and I wanted more. This could have easily been expanded into a short season similar to the Lioness show. Definitely recommended for a quick watch, it is a solid action film that has heart.
