What I love about this movie is the way that Silverstein sees these communities. Man, she can actually see these communities: who these people are, what they do, how they live. Tyler S @tylersjr Mar 15 Bull has the same kind of quiet, observational feel as Moonlight or The Florida Project where the story is less about big plot moments and more about watching a kid grow up inside a really specific environment - the whole thing feels very naturalistic, almost documentary-like. It really touched me in a quiet way - by the end it left me feeling strangely moved and reflective, like I'd spent time with the characters themselves. See more 05/25/2021 This is a character study. The husband and wife "writing" team of Annie Silverstein (Directed) and Johnny McAllister just don't seem to have a handle on this from jump. Allow me to use that word "writing" LOOSELY as this duo give us a clunker and that's no 'Bull'. It's cast (other than Morgan) poorly and it's a slog.
