However when it would be natural for the pace to pick up, it slowed down and vice versa. The main characters have potential that is never really explored in any depth, and all side characters are there to either die, or be randomly violent. It is clear what the point of the movie was, with an obvious message that any life is expendable. But the message falls flat. The plot doesn't draw you in, the action doesn't scratch an itch, and overall it fails at being an action movie an a drama.
