A decent sendoff for the Cars franchise. It’s got good character work in it, with Lightning getting older and nearing retirement, and now he’s training a whole new generation of racers to follow in his footsteps. And ultimately, it’s a satisfying sendoff for these characters. But, it is a bit slow and dull, and can be quite meandering in the middle act. Also, the third act is kinda clunky, and the pull a weird “twist” at the end that kinda made no sense during the race. It’s fine, it’s enjoyable enough, just nothing special.

I don’t like this movie because it acts like cars 2 never happened and I hate it , like how Finn mcmissile and Holley shiftwell didn’t return and worst of all McQueen crashed and almost retired and it felt so boring and worthless

Cars 3 is an absolute masterpiece, I remember when I went to see it in theaters with my dad, a very nostalgic movie, just like the second and first movie! You should absolutely see this, it’s an underrated gem!
