It's more practical, thought-provoking, and, albeit lame at times, a much cleaner and more mature love story. This is a third goal (a hat-trick if you will) for Lakshya post Kill and The Badaas Of Bollywood, and surprisingly, Ananya also shines as a self-confident female lead. It's not an out-of-the-world WOW love story, but it comes pretty close to a cinema visit at least. CMD is uplifting and stops a patriarchy slight, nipping it in the bud. It's feminist as well as masculine at the same time, complementing both characters and their inherent urge to follow their hearts, their dreams, their goals, and their love above all! CMD IS A GREAT WATCH AFTER A VERY LONG TIME!
