It teaches valuable lessons most of all about kindness and fashion. The music is exceptional you’ll never want these songs to leave your head. I was only ten when this film was first released and it was my absolute favourite and I would watch ten times over and to this day it is a classic and it is a film that I feel that everyone should watch at least once. There’s really something for everyone in the audience. Even the family cat. PUMPKIN! It teaches perseverance and the importance of success. Cinderellas commitment to her dress design is tear jerking. I honestly didn’t expect this adaptation to hit so hard, but the casting is incredible and the whole thing feels alive in a way the original never quite managed. The worldbuilding and storytelling are super sharp, with gorgeous costumes and a soundtrack that actually sticks with you. It’s faithful to the classic story but still manages to improve on it, especially with some absolutely perfect sequences and a fantastic second and third act.
