"Close Encounters of the Third Kind" (1977) is a very good movie made by Steven Spielberg. Without going into plot details of this old film, it is basically about UFO and more importantly about people and mystery surrounding it. I really enjoyed this film the few times i saw it during the years, and ending of it especially excellent. The idea and concept were very intriguing for me when i watched it for a first time. Acting was very good by all involved. Music by John Williams was excellent as usual. Overall, "Close Encounters of the Third Kind" is an excellent science fiction film. Films goal i think was to awe its audience with an idea that UFO can be harmless, and a prospect of communication. Many great science fiction films (Contact, Arrival and etc) later should said thank you for this film, as without it there wouldn't be them as well. Great film. See more Read all reviews
