Alex Corvis is falsely convicted of brutally stabbing his girlfriend Lauren to death. He maintains his innocence and insists that Lauren was killed by a man with distinctive scars on his body, but the police cannot find any trace of him. After three years on death row, Alex is electrocuted in a messy execution and shortly after, his guardian crow appears and resurrects him. With the help of Lauren's sister Erin, the Crow begins his hunt for the killer.

Justin T @RT08580778 Jan 25 This was definitely not as bad as I was expecting. I appreciate that they told a different story and not just the same one again. The great tone and setting is gone, I blame the cinematography and direction for that loss. The crow character is rather devoid of personality here and I think mostly because Eric Mabius is pretty bad in the lead, otherwise the acting is excellent. I didn’t like the direction, it was average at best. I didn’t hate the revenge story and the mostly good acting kept me engaged. The car chase with the helicopter was fun and felt surprisingly big budget. The film has mostly good technical quality, some of the dialogue recording is scrappy and some of the effects are horrible like the CGI crow and helicopter explosion but this was fairly minor. The balance action and story is well done, yes the acting is a little cheesy, to be honest av saw worse, I think people judge the The crow harshly because what happened to Brandon Lee and the films would definitely be different story's, or mabe there just that one magic film mabe Brandon would put his foot down for future films of the crow story.
