It has a coherent plot and decent pacing. Beyond that, all bets are off. Its vibes are corny, its thrills are cheap, and its religious morality is nauseating.

These faith-based movies are getting better with production quality. I actually don't have a problem with the visual look or the acting here. I am critical of the message, though. I think the movie is too harsh on people who are thrown into a state of shock when witnessing violence. You want to help but are not sure if you are physically strong enough to prevail. Most people don't wake up expecting to be a hero that day. That is distinct from the opening scenes of real-life cold-hearted bystanders. That is completely different from what was shown in the story. But there was a twist in the end that seemed to suggest that wasn't the real lesson after all. Not a bad film. It did get annoying in the middle, though.

This movie should not be called Don't Look Back. Instead, it should be Don't Think Back or Don't Think Too Much. It was not scary and plot was too easy to guess. Acting part is not bad.
