Stephanie M Oct 12 Character actually says - 'Make me want to kill myself.' Actually astounded and distracted this is allowed to be marketed and rated a children's movie. See more 09/16/2024 Don't get me wrong, this movie wasn't bad, but I was left with many unanswered questions. Is the mom ever coming back? Why didn't the mom bring along the family? I mean it's not like the mother couldn't have achieved her dream if she brought along the family. Also, why even add the mother if she wasn't a major part of the movie, she was also brought up maybe three times. Also, i'm not sure why the guinea pig was such a big deal in the movie, why did they think it was a rat anyways? Everything else was fine. See more Peter W 07/08/2023 Overall, this film certainly brings a great concept to the screen. This film is visually pleasing, particularly when viewers witness the world of dream creation. As a film many child viewers will undoubtedly find the movie quite satisfying. As an adult, I found this film to contain unlikeable characters and similar voice work to other animated films. The film also rushes all character resolutions, which ultimately feels weak. Dreambuilders delivers new concepts, to be sure, but these concepts are mixed in with ingredients that are far too familiar, along with soft leads. See more Read all reviews
