Alex Browning is embarking on a trip to Paris. He experiences a premonition -- he sees the plane explode moments after leaving the ground. Insisting that everyone get off the plane, Alex and seven other people are forced to disembark. All watch as the plane actually explodes in a fireball. He and the other survivors have briefly cheated death, but will not be able to evade their fate for very long. One by one, these fugitives from fate fall victim to the grim reaper.

SPOILER ALERT!! Final Destination is a great movie. Just the premise alone is very interesting. Firstly, the special effects hold up very well. The use of very little CGI helps. If this movie used a lot of CGI, I don't think it would still look this good today, but the use of practical effects have really helped this one stand the test of time. The vision/premonition scene is shot very well. The explosion is very good and the blood splatters look like classic horror. Obviously fake, but more realistic than CGI blood. Nice added charm. But the plot itself is actually very good and watching the main character, Alex, figure out the premise of the movie about cheating death and escaping horrible fates is cool. The acting is very good in this film, too. The final sequence is a little out there, but oddly enough, it fits perfectly with the rest of the movie and its vibe. Overall, this is an excellent horror movie that fans of the genre should definitely check out.

James Wong deserves a KISS for this absolute masterpiece of a movie. My sister had recommended it to me because I'm a diehard fan for Saw and now, I'm a diehard fan for Final Destination so 10/10!! I will say, Clear acting like her and Alex were dating is a CRAZZZYY move but i guess u do u..
