When their kingdom becomes trapped in perpetual winter, fearless Anna (Kristen Bell) joins forces with mountaineer Kristoff (Jonathan Groff) and his reindeer sidekick to find Anna's sister, Snow Queen Elsa (Idina Menzel), and break her icy spell. The songs aren't good enough to stick in your head and the characters aren't good enough to be iconic, but Frozen is pleasant enough. May it have a long life on ABC Family, clogging up your weekend TV holiday schedule for years to come.

This is absolutely amazing. I can’t thank whoever’s idea it was enough to show this in theaters. My daughter enjoyed this movie on the screen at home for the longest time so being able to share this with her at the movie theater was truly something special.

Saw it for the first time on the Disney 100 year anniversary re-release and really enjoyed it.. I get why little girls are still dressing up as these characters and singing their songs despite being born after the film’s release. Disney doesn’t make them like they used to.

Rating: 4/5 ⭐️ I expected a toy commercial, but was surprised by the Disney Renaissance vibes. It has old-school charm with impressive tech. The Director’s Eye: The animation team showed off—the lighting through the ice and the use of CinemaScope make the world feel massive. As a man of faith, I really appreciated the twist on "true love." It centers on sacrificial familial love rather than romance. Putting someone else's needs first is a biblical concept that lands perfectly here. And yes, "Let It Go" is a powerhouse performance. The Cuts: The rock trolls were a bit much—too goofy and broke the immersion. The parents gave terrible advice (repress, don't control?), and some dialogue felt too modern for a fantasy piece. Verdict: A modern classic. The message of sacrificial love and family redemption makes it a solid watch. Favorite Line: "Some people are worth melting for."
