Henry Brogan is an elite 51-year-old assassin who's ready to call it quits after completing his 72nd job. It is easy to see that what Ang Lee wanted Gemini Man to be an action film that changed the face of cinema, what he has created though is a film so bad that it is likely to become a cult classic for the same reason The Room has become a must-see film

The clone story line is a cover story to deal with toxic masculinity in father and son relationships, but for armchair psychologists, there is an additional subtext of nurturing and reparenting your inner child, which I believe attracted Smith

The movie critics who gave it a low score are clearly not action fans. It's not Mission Impossible or even the first Bourne movie, but it was a fun watch especially on the big screen. The action scenes were cool and the only element that I really didn't like was Junior's CGI eyes -- obviously because it wasn't the real thing. The critics really mauled this movie but I would watch it again and definitely recommend it to Mission Impossible and Bourne fans!
