Jianre H @jbear 5d Great story, Oscar worthy acting, amazing plot However, the ending made no sense. if he wanted it so much he sacrificed himself for the experiment, he would have kept on going in afterlife. The movie unfortunately lacked the explaination for his decision afterlife to forfeit the experiement... it would made much more sense if a dieity or some sort of death or god came out and said "human is forbidden to know" or "those who finds out will be punished with death" to make sense of the story. See more stan c @RT32110125 12/16/2021 One of the boldest bait & switch trailers next to Masters of the Universe: Revelations. There are like 3 actual ghosts in the entire movie. It's terrible. What starts off as a great premise soon turns into a boring slog and then a depressing "why am I still watching this" urge to scratch that it in the back of your throat with buckshot. There is nothing redeeming about this movie. I could have watched Ghost Busters 2016 instead. At least I could have experienced unbridled rage instead of never ending sadness.
