If it separates itself from more generic fare, it's because it focuses on a particular family and not on ten thousand different characters, and because it places great emphasis on the emotional tragedy they find themselves in. [Full review in Spanish].

Entertaing for sure. Intense, and worth a watch if you have nothing else going on. Give it a chance, Morena Baccarin isn't hard to look at.

Read review and thought, hmm, might be interesting and can't be that bad as there is a sequel. Unfortunately it follows a well worn script. Family with marital issues with a child who is diabetic plunged into a world disaster who are picked to be "saved". Tampa Florida wiped out, neighbours begging to take heir child, highways in gridlock, child gets his blanket from bag and guess what, medications fall out of bag. At this stage I though nope and watched The Boys which at least is mildly entertaining.
