A man wakes up in a Moscow laboratory to learn that he's been brought back from the dead as a half-human, half-robotic hybrid. With no memory of his former life, a woman who claims to be his wife tells him that his name is Henry. Before she can activate his voice, armed thugs storm in and kidnap her. As Henry starts to understand his new abilities, he embarks on a bloody rampage through the city to save his spouse from a psychopath (Danila Kozlovsky) who plans to destroy the world.

The camerawork is impressively nutty and it moves like nobody's business, but it's ultimately just a wind-up toy, and once it's done going in its tedious circles, there's not much left for anyone who can vote and doesn't subsist on Red Bull.

It may make you nauseous but the spectacle of a first person shooter movie is very unique. Is it a ground breaking plot? No. It’s a turn of your brain off and enjoy spectacle type movie. Worth a watch.

Absolutely one of my fave action movies of all time. It's exciting, it's creative, it's dramatic, its surprising, it has a wholesome friendship that captures your heart. It's goofy and charming and a thrill ride from beginning to end. It also has one of the most satisfying endings to a movie I have ever seen. Hardcore Henry relishes in its violence and is a must-see for any action loving sickos.
