Sat down to watch this. It's a really slow and poignant look at yhe prison system as well as trauma and the affect it can have on men. This film is bleak but features moments of genuine compassion. It's not an action-packed prison drama, so if that's what you're looking for, you might not enjoy it. It's a character-driven film. It asks you to consider even reprehensible characters as human beings and the prison and justice system and if it works. All in all I found this an interesting and thought provoking film.

Expected it to be alot better than it actually was. The movie followed a singular dull plot. No real or very unexplained backstory of characters. The audio of dialogue was horrendous. Probably the worst movie i have watched in a long time.

Best film I've seen this year! No idea how this isn't being talked about more. The acting is phenomenal, should be at Oscars, writing and directing too. Did not expect what this film did to me.. wrecked and healed.
