Critics Consensus

Jeepers Creepers 2 is competently made, but it doesn't have the scares of the original.

The tag here is more silly than haunting, but this is still a pretty wild ride, with a fine, knife-wielding score by Bennett Salvay. Go to Full Review

Jeepers Creepers 2 is just plain silly. And comes to India a year too late. Go to Full Review

Subtle as a brick, Jeepers Creepers 2 is what it is, and you either love it or hate it. Still, you have to admit that the Creeper (Jonathan Breck) is a fun villain. Go to Full Review

Of course, the thing doesn't actually die. It just folds up its face and hibernates for another 23 years, or at least until the inevitable Jeepers Creepers 3: More Goo for You. Go to Full Review

Benjamin W. @Code70 5d A surprisingly solid horror sequel. Apparently, among the fanbase, it is heavily debated about which one’s the better of the two, Jeepers Creepers, or Jeepers Creepers 2? And I kind of see why. Both of them are surprisingly sold for what they are, being low-budget, random-director horror flicks, and both can be effectively dark and messed up in what they’re going for. I think the two leads in the original are better than any one character here, and I think this lacks the surprise ending the first one had. But, I also think the characters are largely still quite good here, and I think it’s probably more effectively tense and suspenseful overall, with fewer dumb character decisions (though there are still a few of those). I think the first one may have had higher highs, but this one might be more consistent. Either way you go, I was surprised by both of them. They’re both pretty entertaining, and they both offer cool, unique things for horror hounds to feast on. They’re a solid time. See more Kristofer K @kbkaizer May 13 Horribly acting, horrible CGI and makeup, weird yellow filter, homophobic at times - not sure how this even got the green light. I actually liked it See more Clarence H. @clarencew Apr 4 Well-made & suspenseful, Jeepers Creepers 2 is in the rotation of movies I watch on a regular basis. To me, this is an example of the sequel being better than the original. A wicked scarecrow beast thing wakes up from hibernation to feed on a broken-down bus full of high school kids stranded in the middle of nowhere. Genuinely scary at times.
