It's ironically rather short on standup from Mr. Hart himself, but structural problems aside, Kevin Hart: Let Me Explain offers another example of why he's achieved mainstream success on his own terms.

Story/Screenplay: (3/5) There were enough funny lines to keep me engaged, but not enough to make a favorable recommendation. Duration/Tempo: (3/5) At 1 hour and 15 minutes, it's a very, very short movie that felt a little longer. Cast & Crew: (3/5) Kevin Hart is a great talent, but he wasn't at his best here. This was an OK performance, but not good. Summary: (3/5) Wasn't good enough to receive a thumbs up. Instead, a thumbs down.
