A decade-and-a-half after its release, Judd Apatow’s 2007 comedy Knocked Up is mostly known for a few controversies... All of those controversies have some merit. But that doesn’t mean the film itself deserves to be written off. (15th anniversary)

Judd Apatows gags are strewn with crude language and extreme behavior but his humor is all grounded in character and relationships and prickly moments of self-realization and guilt, and his cast mixes it up wonderfully.

Absolutely hilarious from start to finish. The plot was very good as well. Cheering for Seth Rogen the whole movie and genially facepalmed over all of his dumb mistakes.

A gross-out comedy that's light on the gross, high on the comedy and adds some genuine heart for good measure. A wonderfully engaging movie.

I think it could have been incredible. But comedies generally need to be no longer than 90 minutes. And it was definitely more vulgar and not as funny as it could have been. Seems like they couldn’t decide between comedy and drama. I think Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann steal the show.

Too long for a late 2000’s comedy centered around drugs, intercourse, and a hookup resulting in pregnancy (not a shock for a Seth Rogan film) Too many story lines thrown into this 2 hour plus movie that is all too predictable with minimal laugh out loud moments. Completely forgettable after reminiscing on how my classmates thought it was a classic back when I was in High school.

Not even a little bit funny. And it's nonsensical. Successful broadcaster Allison has a drunken one-night stand with a total loser, gets pregnant, and immediately falls in love with the dope-smoking, unemployed, wildly inappropriate dad. It was weird.
