LifeHack is a high-stakes cyber-heist thriller built for the digital age. Kyle and his three friends spend their time gaming and pranking online scammers with their hacking skills. Eager for a real challenge, Kyle persuades them to target billionaire Don Heard by exploiting his daughter Lindsey's overshared social media presence. When the foursome successfully infiltrate Don's cryptocurrency wallet, they believe they've pulled off the perfect crime -- until Lindsey calls Kyle with an ultimatum. This screenlife film is uniquely powerful. Farmer and Scholz were so naturalistic, it was hard to remember this wasn't a collection of found footage from online, but a carefully crafted story by writers Ronan Corrigan andHope Elliott Kemp.

Life Hack (2026) continues the recent wave of "screen-life" thrillers, telling its story entirely through phones, surveillance footage, laptops, and social media clips. While movies like Missing made the format feel suspenseful and creative, this film struggles to bring enough originality to keep the concept engaging. The story follows a cryptocurrency-related heist and attempts to build tension through digital interactions and online paranoia, but the execution feels uneven throughout. One of the biggest problems is pacing, as large sections drag and slowly lose momentum instead of building suspense naturally. The constant reliance on screens eventually becomes repetitive, making parts of the movie feel more like random internet clips stitched together than a fully immersive thriller. Although the film contains a few interesting ideas, the weak emotional connection and forgettable storytelling prevent it from leaving a lasting impact. Better suited for Netflix now.!

we are just watching a bunch of online lads jumping down the rabbit hole of don heard. Interesting to see a non horror webcam only film and yet the main guy is very brave with no sense of repercussions. Fantastic visual markups and edits to hide copyright, though every action just happens instantly somehow.
