A tale of a young girl's close encounter with the galaxy's most wanted extraterrestrial. Lilo is a lonely Hawaiian girl who adopts a small ugly "dog," whom she names Stitch. Stitch would be the perfect pet if he weren't in reality a genetic experiment who has escaped from an alien planet and crash-landed on Earth. Through her love, faith and unwavering belief in ohana, the Hawaiian concept of family, Lilo helps unlock Stitch's heart and gives him the ability to care for someone else.

It's a bright, engaging bauble with half a dozen Elvis Presley songs for Mom and Dad, and just enough sass -- Stitch sticks his tongue into his nose and eats his snot -- to keep the tweeners giggling.

En resumen, Lilo & Stitch es otra gran obra animada de Disney que ha hecho que la etapa milenaria de la casa del ratón siga brillando. Como otros clásicos de la franquicia animada, sigue manteniendo su encanto intacto y puede seguir agradando a los niños y adultos de las generaciones pasadas, presentes y futuras. Mi calificación final para esta película es un 9/10.

Despite its nostalgic reputation, Lilo & Stitch feels far more uneven than its status as a Disney classic would suggest. The film struggles to balance heartfelt family drama with chaotic sci-fi comedy, often undercutting its own emotional moments with frantic slapstick. While the theme of "ohana" is repeatedly emphasised, the emotional development doesn’t always feel fully earned. The story moves quickly between chases and gags, leaving little room for genuine depth. There are moments of charm, but overall, Lilo & Stitch feels more like a quirky experiment than a truly cohesive classic. — Jason Wright
