See more jesse v Sep 19 This movie started out strong, but once it landed to Los Angeles, the writers kept on ham-fisting American references every so often. A gamer goofball in an action movie with an insufferable father and the main character that is somewhat blind but still able to drive. There are CLEARLY two different movies here that got mashed together just for comedy sakes. Despite Josh Jamal’s natural talent, the screenplay is chaotic and unengaging, leaving the story incoherent and difficult to follow. Scenes jump back and forth without purpose, erasing any momentum or emotional investment, and the film never finds a rhythm. The casting is uneven, with performances that feel underdeveloped and disconnected, making it hard to care about the characters’ journeys. Even moments that might have had potential are undermined by poor writing and lackluster direction. The dialogue often feels forced, and the overall pacing is frustratingly uneven. There’s little creativity or entertainment value, leaving the viewer disengaged throughout. While the premise might have had promise, London Calling collapses under its own disorganization.
