02/04/2013 Unique little dramedy certainly has its moments. See more 03/19/2010 I found this little indie comedy highly enjoyable. Poyser kept my attention with his bogus situations and strange relationships, and I loved wondering with each scene whether I was seeing malicious violence or ill-placed love- it's sincerely hard to tell most of the time. The acting was surprisingly strong; performances that at first seem small gain real depth as the story progresses. This film won't be seen by a lot of people, probably because it isn't loud enough, but it's very worth tracking down. (SxSW). See more 03/17/2010 I found myself waiting for this film to end. The tone was ambiguous, which is admirable but frustrating, in how it tried to combine comedy and horror-stalker elements into a tone that was muddled and uninteresting. The characters were all childish, beyond belief, to boot. I feel like the concept was good but I was underwhelmed by how the story was concocted around that concept.
