Kevin L @Lakeman Jan 31 Wonderful film. Virginie Efira is a marvel. She carries the movie in a soft, tour-de-force of acting. She handles each element of the character's arc; the emotions; the delicate deceptions & authentic warmth. But most of all, the psychological range she must express to pull off such a character & storyline. Much credit to writer/director Barraud and co-writer Klotz for this screenplay & skillful directing. Good pacing, editing, casting throughout. Gutiérrez, Gioria, and Benguerel (amazing!) are also terrific. Bisset & Rostain are great as concerned parents. Loved the ending as well. Must not have been Alfred, that's for sure. Acting well done. But not suspenseful. If it weren't for the lead actress and her co-stars I would not have lasted to the end. The story is so ridiculous that if the director wouldn't feed all the details tiny bit by bit and back and forth in the timeline you could actually shoot the movie compacted into 15 minutes instead of boring the spectators to death for 100 minutes.
