Many of the gestures and dialogues are so sensitive that they make you believe in films of this kind again. Clark is a perceptive character, and the premise is truly captivating. However, Will's final appearance could have been better: the transition from a leaf to a film seems uninteresting to me. Will advocates for Louisa's well-being by leaving her, and of course, he first had to leave her with a great deal of pain that he never quite justifies. And perhaps justifying his leaving Clark was necessary, so I wouldn't be left with the feeling that he's a questionable character. Should you only put in the effort if you have a continuity you like? I don't know what those who share Will's situation think about his moods. But, it's a fresh and sentimental film. The kind you need to watch on a nostalgic day, and in the end, you say: definitely, I wouldn't watch it again. Without a doubt, as a 21st-century rom-com, this film will age well. I liked/agreed with the things they removed that wouldn't have been impactful to the storyline - obviously to make it fit into the 2 hours. I thought all the characters were perfectly placed - the lead characters were simply perfect for the roles they played. My only real critisim is for the kissing scenes, I felt they were rushed and almost a bit awkward. I would have liked to see a little more build up there, even just a couple of seconds of flirty chatting or something to soften the harshness of just sitting on his lap and creepishly slowly moving in for a kiss. it didn't feel as real as it could have been, in my opinion.
