There’s a small genre of films I call "cheerfully nasty."It has a terrific cast, some delightfully deadpan dialogue, a bunch of great needle-drop songs, some surprising twists throughout, and even a post-credit scene with one more.

i think the best part of the movie is the soundtrack, but the combat was slow, blurry and derivative, and the time travel stuff didn't really do it for me, perhaps because the leading male roles are both sort of b-rate celebs. there are a bunch of other cast members that i'd rather have seen in the lead but who instead just get brief cameos, and the film runs out of steam halfway through while the protagonists go on a 20 minute rant about gilmore girls in great detail for no reason. did anyone even ask for two vince vaughns anyways?

I was pleasantly surprised with this movie. A delightful twist on a classic time travel idea. Vince Vaughn is excellent in this and you really feel for his character by the end. I would strongly recommend you grab some popcorn on a Friday night and sit down and have a watch. I won't be surprised if they make a sequel of this. They could really have some fun with it. Also the music is top notch, classic '90s and '80s as well.
