I'm absolutely amazed. It's a movie that stands out for its incredible story and its complex yet realistic characters. The performances are one of its strongest aspects, as everything feels incredibly natural. It's so easy to empathize with the characters because the acting is so authentic, it truly feels like they are living these experencies. It's simply stunning. The direction is another remarkable highlight. The decision to use the 1:1 aspect ratio as a narrative choice is brilliant, and one of the most impactful moments in the film happens when this format changes. This isn't just a clever technical choice--it's a way for the director to capture truly special moments that evoke deep emotions, whether positive or negative. I also have to mention the music. The song choices are spectacular, especially the one during the end credits, which delivers a clear powerful message. In conclusion, Mommy is an absolutely must-watch film. It's been a long time since a story has surprised me this much, and I regret not having seen it sooner.

A film I watched in 2020 on a rainy midnight. I was completely immersed in it… and I cried. An epic film by Xavier Dolan, created when he was just 23 years old. This is an extraordinary masterpiece. If anyone asks me, 'What is the best film?'—this is my answer! I say it with pride.
