Like many 20-somethings her age, Sophie (Lana Condor) is faced with a world of choices. Sure, there's the future stuff, the family stuff, the job stuff. But, where she is truly confused is on the big choice, the momentous one, the top-of-list one that stands out--what to do about him! Her long-term b.f. Calvin (Mason Gooding) has moved with his family and taken a job out of town. As in way out of town. A published scientist, Calvin's posting was supposed to be temporary and now, that "temporary" is beginning to read more like "permanent." Then there's Walt (Cole Sprouse), who's also confronted with choices, but mmmmmaybe not so many. He's pretty content with his going nowhere assistant barista job in a college bookshop and his solitary existence. That is, until he meets Ginny (Emily Rudd), and the closing-time-to-sunrise hours he spends with her convinces him that she's the one. The time just flies. But sadly, at dawn, so does Ginny, off to where her new life is waiting. A romantic comedy with a twist, "Moonshot" follows Walt and Sophie as they join forces in order to be reunited with their significant others, embarking upon a lively journey that winds up taking them both wildly and unexpectedly off course.

Despite not having a ton of chemistry, Sprouse and Condor are hugely likeable in this funny and wry space rom-com. From the gorgeous interiors to amusing robot banter, Moonshot is surprisingly much better than its silly premise suggests

This is a surprisingly good film , I found it emotional and humerus capturing something magical which most similar films miss . The sound track is also good and found it excellent for helping me in a depressed period in my life . Some films just hit the spot and this certainly did that , I even shed a few tears .

A fun watch on a Sunday afternoon. I enjoyed the laughs and the style of comedy, like with the robots (ie Gary) in a futuristic world. The story was well written enough and the overall concepts with Mars and Earth were believable, and the space ship journey had some beautiful scenes. The 2 main actors made a great combo and the stark contrast between their personalities was both entertaining and endearing. There were some great moments between these two that I thoroughly enjoyed - like the nervous dancing. It's not all gold of course, but there is some simple, yet great ideas and comedy through out that kept me invested and entertained.

Movie was fine. Not very complex, very predictable - a time passer that was alright. A couple of supporting characters were either written poorly or casted poorly, most likely a combination of the two.
