K G @KatyG-S Feb 17 An endearing tale about a nanny, besides Disney's "Mary Poppins". It was exciting when I could watch it on TV I'm bright Saturday afternoons. Now, I am going to say about why it is so lovable. The appearance of Nanny McPhee might suggest something - I loved Emma Thompson as her. She has an ugly looking face & could not lose to Mr. Brown's 7 misbehaved children, who had driven out the previous old nannies. Perhaps, naughty minors do not deserve a young nice person to be their nanny. Maybe, it could be the ugly appearance could be whatever made the children gradually better mannered, with a gradual more plain & beautiful appearance, which people would love to hire & love. She saved children from a horrible soon to be stepmother, who they must never have had because of how decent they became. Since Nanny McPhee left since she was no longer needed, they get awarded with an actual good stepmother. But I never found the sequel interesting, so I shall give it a miss. Overall, "Nanny McPhee" succeeds as a delightful, imaginative experience, offering audiences a lighthearted, magical adventure that’s entertaining for both children and adults alike.
