giyu n @strawberrycake Dec 18 I read the book written by John Connolly before watching this. I thought it was quite a good film, although the ending is a little abrupt. It was actually far more abrupt and bleak than the short story, but it wasn't as bad as the ratings suggest. I'm surprised to see it ranked so low. Allegories from critics connecting the story to the fallout from a broken home is so bizarre,it was just dumb....for me one of the worst ive watched in years.
