11/24/2016 Sometimes the most enjoyable movies come from the random watching. I truly loved this movie. The story was a very typical coming of age tale but with the background of NYC kid in the early 80's dealing with the inevitable loss of his nanny. Explained in the movie Oliver is much more closer to his Spanish live in nanny than his own mother. I felt the relationship between all characters was perfectly executed thanks to the acting by the main cast. Following this kid as he makes his way though hormone filled rebellionious attitude of 13. My 13 was nothing like his tho the actions are different the emotions remain the same. Great Direction and cinematography. Has rewatch value IMO. This is one of the worst movies I have ever seen in 2015, actually I'm completely sure is the worst movie I have seen in my entire life. Characters were not likable, not even believable, relationships didn't felt real, weak storyline. I mean, why would anybody invest money into make this piece of crap?
