Featuring everything from handmade pasta to beautifully rolled cannolis and even the unique delicacy of capuzzelle, I could practically smell the kitchen through the screen, and it certainly kept me hooked on hanging out with the movie's charming cast.

Nonnas” was not groundbreaking or edgy, but it was pleasant and heartfelt. If you let yourself be comforted and relax into this movie, there’s a good chance that at the end you will feel some emotion akin to “I needed that.”

Representational of what is essentially a labor of love, the film that depicts the story of Nonas isn’t made with the same love and care as the real deal. It’s more like Olive Garden, for people who like Olive Garden.

Bored on an afternoon alone in the house, a friend recommended this light-hearted, lovely little movie. It ended with me feeling very warm and cozy inside. A must see if you want a real feel-good movie.

What a wonderful, happy film! Like many people who have lost a close relative, this story allows the audience to share grief then happiness when the films protagonist opens a family restaurant! Based on a true story that amazing Italian restaurant still trades but it can take months to get a reservation. A 5 star film and cast, what a wonderful way to spend an evening.
