See more Jon B @Jonniejonjon Feb 5 Saw this movie in theatres in 1983 aged 13. Loved it back then, but as I grew up I found it boring and silly. Now in my fifties I love this film. It has silly moments for sure - the tarzan cry, the tiger scene and the gorilla costume. That said, the clown costume never really bothered me as it tied in nicely with the death of 009. The title song is poor, Roger Moore is a little long in the tooth, the story a little convoluted, and the film's title still makes me cringe but it's still one of Moore's best entries. There's a lot packed into this movie. Highlights include Maud Adams, Stephen Berkoff, Louis Jordan, the Inidian locales, the casino scene, the train sequence, the plane sequence at the end, the pre title sequence, the knife throwing twins and Gorbinda to name a few. Great action too. An underated and often derrided 007 movie but watch it again and see it in a different light. Arguably the 2nd best Roger Moore Bond film and one of my top 10 best Bonds films of all time. See more dschubba69 T @Dschubba Feb 3 All the Roger Moore bonds are great in there own way. This is a movie that has aged great, more so for the fact they just really don't make movies like this anymore and frankly cant. Scenery and sets are top notch, story is good enough and the facy its dated to its time is even more entertaining, action and effects are above par. Just enough cheese, boyish humor to take it up a notch to always be an enjoyable watch. Nenhum dos vilões realmente impõe medo, enfraquecendo a tensão dramática. 🎥 **Produção, Fotografia & Efeitos** A produção passa a sensação de pressa, com escolhas irregulares de ritmo e tom. Ainda assim, o filme acerta em cenários variados e em boas cenas práticas. Os efeitos especiais são simples, mas funcionais para a época, sem grandes destaques técnicos. As cenas de Bond no avião são o ponto alto do filme, mantendo o espectador preso à poltrona — muito antes de *Missão: Impossível*, Moore já realizava suas próprias "peripécias aéreas".
