Daring, ruthless and meticulous, Parker (Jason Statham) is one of the most successful thieves in the business. But when his latest robbery turns deadly because of a careless crew member, he declines to join crime boss Melander (Michael Chiklis) and his gang for another heist. The crooks turn on Parker and leave him for dead. Parker survives and vows vengeance, tracing the gang to Palm Beach. There, he joins forces with an unlikely ally (Jennifer Lopez) to hijack the gang's next big score.

Poor J-Lo: there was a time when she co-starred with George Clooney, but 15 years on from Out Of Sight she's just a third wheel in this uninspired vengeance caper wherein The Stath is shafted by the Mob and vows payback.

This movie proves that Jason Statham doesn't have what it takes to play a James Bond type. Lopez comes across as being in need of the paycheck.

You have to suspend realism. The fight between Stratham and Bernhardt is stupid. What director would allow Bernhardt to still be alive after being smashed across the head with a heavy object who then falls hitting his head and breaking his neck. It's things like this that weakens the film. So many directors ruin their films like this.

Not a bad Statham film, I think it’s one of the better ones. There’s a lot of dialogue, but I liked it. There’s action too and the story worked out just fine. Great entertainment.
