Com 90 minutos de duração, o filme mistura ação, comédia e policial, mantendo o ritmo acelerado da franquia, mas ampliando seu cenário ao levar a dupla para Hong Kong e Las Vegas, expandindo o universo da história. O resultado é uma sequência mais ousada, com mais ação, mais humor e uma escala internacional, consolidando a franquia como uma das mais populares duplas do cinema de ação dos anos 2000.
