Sydney (Neve Campbell) and tabloid reporter Gale Weathers (Courteney Cox) survived the events of the first Scream, but their nightmare isn't over. When two college students are murdered at a sneak preview of Stab, a movie based on the events from the first film, it's clear a copycat killer is on the loose. Sydney and Gail, as well as fellow survivors Deputy Dewey (David Arquette) and Randy (Jamie Kennedy) have to find out who is behind this new murder spree, before they all end up dead.

One of the best Scream Sequels! Scream 2 is still a fun scary horror film and is the best horror sequel of the 90’s. Scream 2 felt like the story took its time and never felt rushed, so it’s surprising the sequel was made right after the original. This will always be in my Top 5 favorite Scream films and will be watching this masterpiece for the rest of my life. I miss the 90’s so much! 10/10

Usually, when it's time for a horror sequel, there's a pretty big dip in quality because the first one is always the best (it's funny that I'm even saying this since they have a conversation about sequels just like this) but even though I still consider the first to be way better, this movie is still a very strong sequel! For starters, the opening scene is really good. The movie theater setting was great for the first kill and the introduction of the "Stab" franchise makes this opening scene iconic from the beginning. Moving on from the opening, there are a lot of good scenes and kills in this movie. One great scene is the one in the car. That scene has you on the edge of your seat in anticipation of what will happen. It's great. I also thought the reveal of the Ghostfaces was good and I thought the reveal of who the killers were was really good. Having Billy's Mom be the one orchestrating the kills makes sense and gives her a great motive. Overall, this is a really good Scream sequel.

Scream 2 is a great sequel to the original. It has consistency fresh off the first film. It builds very good on the main three characters. Great chase and suspense sequences which are highlights of the film.

Always my favorite out of the franchise. Great character development seeing Sid in college and (spoilers ahead) the saddest but necessary scene of Randy's death still hits fans today. The scariest scene out of the franchise is still when Sidney and Halle get trapped in the cop car! Most heart-pounding scene! The best reveal out of the entire franchise in Mrs. Loomis. Casting Laurie Metcalf in this role was peer genius. Was also great to see Cotton save Sidney in the end. Unique to see another character save Gale and Sidney that was not a main character in the movie.
