It portrays women in such a cheap and shallow way, as if their lives revolve only around sex, fashion, and fleeting relationships. Instead of empowering women, it reduces them to stereotypes and normalizes a lifestyle that glorifies excess, promiscuity, and materialism. It reflects a society that has lost its values, where meaningful connections and genuine self-worth are replaced by superficial pleasures and constant indulgence. Shows like this don’t uplift women — they actually undermine them by suggesting that true happiness comes only from chasing men, money, and status. I would never want young girls, or even daughters, growing up thinking that this is what a woman’s life should look like — just parties, drinking, casual sex, and chasing fun. Life should be about dignity, respect, purpose, and building real, meaningful relationships — not the shallow image this show tries to sell. I was a huge fan of the Sex and the City series and really enjoyed this movie. It had heart, drama and comedy and had the essence of the programme at it's core. I loved the fashion and styling too. Unfortunately the follow up 'And just like that' ripped the heart and soul out of this franchise. Well loved characters died or had their personalities taken away. Big and Samantha Jones were a huge part of the success of Sex and the City, in the movies and TV series. Without them the follow up series felt lost. I enjoyed watching this movie again. The characters and storylines were believable and you liked the characters. It's such a shame that 'And just like that' had none of the flair.
